How to Get to the Museum

By Car
  • 20 minutes from the Joban Expressway’s Yawara Interchange
  • 50 minutes from the Koga area, via Sakai-machi
  • 70 minutes from the Shimodate area, via Shimotsuma
  • 60 minutes from the Tsuchiura area, via Mitsukaido
By Train and Bus
  • Take the Tsukuba Express train to Moriya Station. Then take a Kanto Tetsudo bus bound for either Iwai or Sashima and get off at Shizen Hakubutsukan Iriguchi. It is a 10 minute walk from there.
  • Take the Tobu Noda train to Atago Station. Then take an Ibaraki Kyuko bus bound for Iwai Shako, and get off at Shizen Hakubutsukan Iriguchi. It is a 15-minute walk from there.
